Wednesday Nites @Sunshine
Bible Sudy and Prayer: Beginning Wednesday, June 6, 6:00  -8:00

The study will include a 15 minute DVD presentation on prayer. We will then study the Word together and spend time with the LORD in prayer.  We will have our Kidz Time and our youth groups, so the whole family can take part.
Here’s how you can help:
1.  Put together a team to plan and prepare one of our meals.
2. Help give leadership to our Kids’ group.
3.  Use the daily devotional so you can come prepared and ready to share with others.

Summer Worship Schedule

Next Sunday, May 27 will be the last Sunday for now that Sunshine has two worship gatherings.  On June 3, our daughter church, River’s Edge Church, will begin holding their worship gatherings in our facility at 9:30. Our worship will continue at 11:00.

Sunshine Christian School
Our church’s school ministry has concluded our 17th year of serving the families of El Paso—Praise GOD for His provision, protection, and guidance! It’s been a great year!  You can help promote our school to your family members, friends, and co-workers.  Word of mouth is our best form of advertising.  We already have 205 enrolled for next year, but we have room for many more.  We offer worship, Bible lessons, excellent academic instruction, music, Spanish, library, P.E., and more.  For more information, call our office at 857-5100.

Revolution 7 is the name of our high school group.
Illuminate is the name of our middle school group.
We meet Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 8:30.

GOD’s Goal is Reconciliation

We will conclude today our series of messages on living free from offense, learning to forgive as we have been forgiven.  GOD’s goal for us is reconciliation, between Him and us and between each one of us and the others in our lives.  We often want to be proven right, but ultimately who is right or wrong doesn’t matter.  It is more important to help our sisters and brothers than to prove ourselves correct.  Jesus exhorts us to reconcile even if the offense is not our fault.  It’s a tall order, but a beautiful thing when it happens.
